The Plumbing & Construction College Facilities
The Plumbing & Construction College has many facilities to help with your training and studying at the centre, as well as providing facilities to make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Below are details of the facilities at the college;
The Plumbing Workshop
Our Professional Plumbing workshop is designed to mirror an on-site situation. The workshop is designed to hold a maximum of 8 students. This ensures an excellent Tutor to Student ratio, meaning you will get close tuition on all aspects of the course.
Our teaching delivery ensures the course is available to all, regardless of gender, ability or previous experience. Courses range from 1 day DIY courses through to 26 week courses. Each course is run on either a weekday or over weekends. Flexible arrangements can be made to integrate the duration of a training programme into your work / holiday schedule. It is essential you bring suitable working clothes or overalls and steel toe cap safety shoes. All other PPE is provided by the centre and must be worn when applicable. Our Electrical workshop is designed to ensure you have the range of components and situations you would find on-site. The workshop is designed to hold a maximum of 6 students.
Courses range from 2 day introduction courses through to 2 week courses. Each course is run on either a weekday or over weekends. Flexible arrangements can be made. It is essential you bring suitable working clothes or overalls and steel toe cap safety shoes. All other PPE is provided by the centre and must be worn when applicable. Gas Training Workshop
Our Gas workshop is designed to ensure you have the range of components and situations you would find on-site. The workshop is designed to hold a maximum of 6 students. The Tiling & Maintenance Workshops
Our workshops are designed to ensure you have the range of situations you would find on-site. The workshop is designed to hold a maximum of 8 students. It is essential you bring suitable working clothes or overalls and steel toe cap safety shoes. All other PPE is provided by the centre and must be worn when applicable. Computer Room Facilities
Our computer room has a range of the latest computer equipment. These computers are made available for students during lunch breaks and for a range of online exams. These computers all have a range of software and tools to help with your studying. The room is well spaced meaning you can work in your own area without any interuptions. Canteen and Social Area
Our kitchen is available to students throughout the day to make refreshments and relax during breaks. Free Tea and Coffee are provided throughout your course. Although we are under the same non-smoking rules as all businesses, we understand that smokers don't want to get wet! We have a designated covered smoking area for students to use. There is a local supermarket, cafe and chip shop to fill yourself up during lunch. |
