In accordance with the Australian Skills Classified Occupations (ASCO) 4431-11, plumbers are currently in demand. As the occupation is on the Australian Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) you will be awarded extra points. These extra points increase the likelihood your application will be accepted. Skills that cover these skills are; - Set out and install hot and cold cater systems and associated equipment
- Design sanitary plumbers and water supply systems including resident sprinkler systems
- Install discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
- Fabricate and install soil and waste stacks
- Install sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
- Install below ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
- Assemble and install mechanical services, conditioning and heating systems
- Install rainwater goods and flashing
- Install and maintain approved domestic appliances
Once you have completed the City & Guilds 6129 Level 2, we would advise that you take your City & Guilds 6089 Level 2 (Which is the NVQ Level 2). Once you have completed this you will have the practical experience required to help with your new start. If you are under 45 with plumbing qualifications its VERY likely your application is going to be accepted. Don’t worry, even once you have completed our course and moved abroad you can still access our technical support using our email support. All you need to do is join up to our trade membership.
